We know handing over something irreplaceable isn't a small ask. That's why:

  • Collection and delivery are arranged for a time that works for you, in unbranded transport

  • Communication & Tracking; You'll always know exactly where your piece is and what stage it's at

  • Nothing about the commission — the photos, the piece, the compartment — is shared with anyone outside our workshop

BESPOKE FAQ

Do you work with antique or fragile pieces? Often, yes — with care. Tell us the age, condition, and construction when you enquire, and we'll advise honestly on what's possible before any commitment.

Do I need to send you the piece, or can you work on it in my home? It depends on the piece and the mechanism required. Smaller items are usually collected and returned; for larger or more delicate pieces, we can discuss working on-site during your consultation.

How long does a bespoke commission take? Most commissions take 6–10 weeks from consultation to delivery, depending on complexity. You'll get a clear timeline before work begins.

What if my piece isn't suitable? We'll tell you honestly. Not every piece can safely house a concealed mechanism — but we'll always suggest an alternative approach if the original idea won't work.

Is a deposit required? Yes, a 20% deposit secures your commission slot and covers design and materials; the balance is due on completion, before delivery.

Can I choose exactly what the compartment holds? Yes — that's the whole point of bespoke. We design around what you need to keep close, whether that's watches, jewellery, documents, or something more personal.

I prefer not to pick up and deliver to my home address, what are the options? Yes — we are able to select a third party location for pick up as well as delivery, another option would be to drop by directly by our workshop in North West London.
